The #7 Toyota of Mike Conway, Kabui Kobayashi and Jose Maria Lopez takes pole position in tomorrow’s 4 hrs of Silverstone, kicking off the FIA World Endurance Championship’s 2019/2020 season. The #8 sister car of Sebastien Buemi, Brendon Hartley and Kazuki Nakajima completed qualifying just behind them ahead of the #1 Rebellion Racing Gibson of Bruno Senna, Gustavo Menezes and Norman Nato.
In LMP2 the #29 Racing Team Nederland Oreca of Frits Van Eerd, Giedo Van Der Garde and Job Van Uitert came in ahead of United Autosports Philip Hanson, Filipe Albuquerque and Paul Di Resta with Jackie Chan DC Racing’s #37 crew of Ho-Pin Tung, Gabriel Aubry and Will Stevens completing the LMP2 top 3.
In the GTE Pro category the #51 AF Corse Ferrari of James Calado and Alessandro Per Guidi finished just fractions of a second ahead of the #71 sister car of Davide Rignon and Miguel Molina. While in GTE Am TF Sports Salih Yoluc, Charlie Eastwood and Jonny Adam took top of class ahead of Team Project 1s Egidio Perfetti, David Kolkmann and Matteo Cairoli.
The green flag lifts on the 4hrs of Silverstone tomorrow at 12.00
