Leon Haslam announced today he has signed a deal to stay with Bournemouth Kawasaki in the British Superbikes series.
Leon who finished the season as runner up to Shane “Shakey” Byrne has recently been runner up in both races of the Japanese Superbike Championship and was also a wildcard entry in the final round of the World Superbikes series in Qatar where he raced for Pedercini Kawasaki, finishing fifth place in the closing race.
Leon has stated that “Its’s really important for me to have a second year on this bike that has so much potential” he also went on to say that there would be a little bit of a new set up and project with Bournemouth Kawasaki and that he couldn’t wait to get the ball rolling and try and get the British Championship.
Haslam is joined again in the team by 2016 BSB sixth place finisher, Luke Mossey.
The duo’s new Kawasaki livery and sponsor will be unveiled next week at Motorcycle Live.
